Join us for the Wild Earth Cinema Series, a special Earth Month film program in the planetarium.  Each Thursday we’ll feature science-inspired movies that celebrate our planet and the incredible life that calls it home. These films explore nature, wildlife, and the environment  from powerful documentaries and fascinating educational films to inspiring stories about the natural world.

This series is designed for a wide audience, offering both family-friendly favorites and engaging films for adults. Whether you're discovering wildlife up close, traveling back to the Ice Age, or exploring the wonders of Earth’s ecosystems, each film invites curious minds of all ages to see our planet from a new perspective.

Doors open at 5:30 PM. Films begin promptly at 5:45 PM.

Price: $8 members, $10 nonmembers

Seating is limited, so we recommend purchasing tickets in advance. Guests are welcome to bring snacks and drinks into the planetarium; beverages must be in containers with lids.

 

April 2: In the Footsteps of Elephant 85 min,  Rated: G (General Audiences)

April 23: Born to be Wild 3D movie 40 min,  Rated: G (General Audiences)

Experience the inspiring true story of orphaned orangutans and elephants being rescued and raised by dedicated conservationists. Filmed in stunning 3D, this heartwarming film highlights the deep connections between humans and wildlife.

April 30: Disney Nature Elephant 86 min Rated: G (General Audiences)

Follow an African elephant family as they embark on a long and challenging journey across the Kalahari Desert in search of water. This touching story celebrates the strength, intelligence, and family bonds of one of Earth’s most beloved animals.
