GSK: Be a Space Scientist PM Session
This event is no longer on sale.
Time: Session 2- 2:30pm - 5:30pm
Discover the wonders of space at the EcoTarium! GSK Science in the Summer™ is an informal science summer program for children entering grades 2-6 in September 2024. This program is designed to increase young learners' confidence when participating in science studies and pursuing STEM careers, especially for children from backgrounds currently underrepresented in STEM fields. This year, emerging scientists are encouraged to “Be a Space Scientist”! Join us for a session of space studies that is sure to be out of this world. Participants are invited to conduct three hands-on investigations with the guidance of a GSK Instructor. Caregivers are required to accompany youth for the entirety of the session.
Pre-registration is required, if you would like to explore the museum grounds before or after the scheduled session, you can purchase an admission ticket for the day.
There is always something new happening both on our grounds and inside the museum building. For maximum fun, experience one of our daily planetarium shows*, take a ride on the Explorer Express Train* when operating seasonally, and get up close to our resident otters*!
*Requires pre-registration and limited spaces available; not included with admission. Please stop at the Information Desk for specific additional experience schedules.
