Pond Ecosystems (Ages 6-8)

Ducks and fish are easy to spot, but have you considered the billions of microscopic organisms that provide energy for a healthy ecosystem? Head down to our pond and collect water samples, then examine them under a powerful microscope to explore this near-invisible ecosystem up close.

Caregivers are required to attend class with students. Younger siblings are welcome to be in the classroom during the program. Please note that the program fee does not include admission to the museum, and all individuals on-site must have an admission ticket, be a member of the EcoTarium, or have a membership from a reciprocal institution.
